Amsterdam Schiphol Airport’s management had decided to outsource the operational management of all parking facilities. Working in close collaboration with Schiphol’s Parking & Mobility Services, Spark conducted the European tender for finding a suitable outsourcing partner.
As the number of passengers using off-site parking facilities was increasing, London Gatwick Airport was looking for ways to lure back passengers to airport car parks.
The ever evolving and expanding Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, started looking for ways to replace part or all of its existing P2 parking area.
The upward trend in the number of air passengers meant that the capacity of the existing long-stay car park needed to be increased. Schiphol asked Spark to take care of the European tender.
